This Project is for the Replacement of an Existing Structure on State Route 0167, Section D54, in Hop Bottom Borough, Susquehanna County, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Project is Located Along State Route 0167 (Main Street) at the Structure Over Martins Creek, From Segment 0010, Offset 0309 to Segment 0010, Offset 0924 With an Overall Length of 495 Lf. The Proposed Work Involves Removing the Existing Bridge and Replacing the Structure With a Single-span Composite Steel Plate Girder Bridge. Also Included With the Project Will Be the Re-alignment and Replacement of a Portion of an Existing Concrete Box Culvert Under the Left Sidewalk. In Addition to the Bridge Replacement and Culvert Work, Approach Roadway Reconstruction and Drainage Improvements, Concrete Curb and Sidewalks, Safety Improvements Including Guide Rail and Pavement Markings, Driveway Adjustments, and Landscaping Are Proposed. The Project Work is to Be Completed Using Half-width Construction. Traffic Will Be Maintained With Temporary Traffic Signals. Large Truck Traffic Will Be Maintained via a Detour Route. Pedestrians Will Be Accommodated During Construction via a Temporary Pedestrian Bridge.
