Description

Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field in Palm Springs, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The work comprises demolishing existing Pickleball Courts, Tennis Court, picnic areas and surrounding park space. Construct new, 25 court Pickleball Complex with seating areas, planters, drinking fountains, new court and area lighting, new drainage retention area, shade structures throughout and new electrical service upgrade. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by an electronic copy to demonstrate proof of a certified or cashier's check or a Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the total bid price, payable to the City of Palm Springs. The original will be collected from the apparent lowest responsive bidder and shall match the electronic copy. The Contractor may elect to receive 100 percent of payments due, from time to time, without retention of any portion of the payment by the City, by depositing securities of equivalent value with the City. Question Deadline 03/13/2025 at 3:00 PM PT. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents are to be submitted in writing on the Questions via electronically. The engineer's estimate is $5,300,000.
