Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The existing building was constructed in 1934 as a freight transfer station situated adjacent to the railroad lines. The County purchased the property in 2007 with the vision for it to serve as the Trail Junction Center (TJC) at the intersection of the Schuylkill River Trail (SRT) and the Chester Valley Trail (CVT), two regional trails heavily used by bicyclists and pedestrians. The County enlisted architects and landscape architects to develop construction documents for necessary building and site renovations in order for the TJC to provide desired amenities for trail users and flexible community space. The building has been unoccupied for many years and the interior along with the majority of the façade openings require extensive upgrades to facilitate adaptive reuse of the building and site.
