Cedar Crest High School Additions and Alterations Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond of a surety company legally authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in an amount equal to ten (10%) of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price within ten (10) days after the Contract has been awarded and will also be required to furnish a Contractor's Qualification Statement. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the actual opening of bids. This project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, P.L. 744 and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Acts. Bidders shall refer to the provisions of Federal and State Statutes, Rules and Regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public, natural resources that affect the project, said provisions being submitted as part of the Specifications pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania approved October 26, 1972. The undersigned reserves the right to waive informalities or defects in a bid to the extent permitted under Pennsylvania Law and to reject any or all bids or parts thereof. Bidder may submit a written request for an interpretation or correction thereof on the “Request for Interpretation (RFI)” form following “Section 002113 – Instructions to Bidders” to the Owner’s Representative to the attention of Heather Crownover (email: hcrownover@fidevia.com), who shall disseminate to the Architect and Consultants, not later than Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 5:00 PM
