Deadline for RFIs Wednesday, March 5, 2025 1:00pm Scope of Work Overview: Bidder must be able to provide all management, labor, subcontractors, equipment, and materials for exterior painting of all campus buildings. The contract time is anticipated to be Fifty-One (51) consecutive calendar days. This Project is being let in accordance with the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act ("UPCCAA") (specifically, the formal Bidding procedures in Section 22032(c)). Prequalification is required for this project. As a condition of bidding for this Project, and in accordance with California Public Contract Code section 20111.5, prospective Bidders are required to submit to the District a completed set of prequalification documents on forms provided by the District. Bids will not be accepted if a Bidder has not been prequalified. CUPCCAA Prequalification documents are available electronically. Subcontractors must also submit the CWA Letter of Assent to perform any Work on this project. The successful Bidder must possess a valid and active State of California Class "B" or C-33 License at the time of Bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. Subcontractors shall be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the Work called for in the Bid documents. If this Project includes work that will be performed by mechanical, electrical or plumbing ("MEP") subcontractors (contractors that hold C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 or C-46 licenses), such MEP subcontractors must also be prequalified. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that all MEP subcontractors holding any of the licenses listed above are properly prequalified before submitting a bid. This prequalification requirement applies even if the subcontractor will perform, or is designated to perform, work that does not require one of the licenses listed above, but the subcontractor holds one of the licenses listed above. NOTE: Respondents who assisted in the preparation of getting materials or the Scope of Work for solicitation documents of this BID will NOT be eligible to compete for the award work because they will have an undue advantage to all others. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of: (i) a certified or cashier's check made payable to the District or (ii) a Bid Bond, in the form and content included with the Contract Documents in an amount equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid Proposal amount, inclusive of the price(s) proposed for additive Alternate Bid Items, if any
