Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Amanda Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Adopted the electronic bidding process in an effort to make the bidding process more efficient and cost effective for both the contractor and the County. All Bidders must be pre-qualified in conformance with ODOT Level 2 Bridge Design and Non-Complex Roadway Design. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal. Bidders must comply with the federal prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Hancock County, Ohio as determined by the U.S Department of Labor. All potential bidders must first register on Website and create an Info Tech Digital ID for free. It can take up to seven (7) business days to process your Digital ID. The Hancock County Commissioners reserve the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids submitted on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in the accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any successful bidder against Hancock County or the Board of Hancock County Commissioners.
