Reference Number : 0000377609 The City of Fairburn is seeking a proposal for the Vickers Point Subdivision Underground Power Installation. The vendor's proposal must provide references showing proven experience with commercial clientele. This Invitation to Bid shall include the work required to meet the scope of work and any resulting contract. The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to secure the services of a professional provider equipped to manage and coordinate installation necessary to complete the Vickers Point Subdivision Underground Power Installation as detailed in the specifications. The City of Fairburn is not responsible for any technical difficulties. It is highly recommended that all potential contractors submit their quotes prior to the due date of this solicitation. All communications regarding this solicitation must be with the Purchasing Manager, Attlee Billings, attlee.billings@fairburn.com. This project consists ofthe installation of 1/0 underground primary wire on a 12470/7200V system in a loop feed. There will be 2" HDPE-SDR 13.5 innerduct with tape required for all primary wire on the project. The primary cable will consist of a 25 KV rating as well as all corresponding rubber goods required in all pad mount transformers and terminating cabinets. All secondary wire required will also be in conduit with the above specifications and size as denoted on the drawings. All street lighting required will follow the specifications in the approved Electric Cities ofGeorgia drawings and will follow any other specifications required by Fairburn's Planning and Zoning division. All work will be inspected by Electric Cities of Georgia engineering, as well as the City ofFairburn Power Department for compliance to job specifications. Any addendums to the issued drawings will be submitted though the Electric Cities of Georgia Engineering department for consideration. All work will be performed in the safest possible manner, and every reasonable effort will be made to provide and maintain a safe work area for our customers. All work will be performed by qualified electric distribution workers. The contractor will provide all labor, safety equipment, tools, and supervision to accomplish the contracted tasks.
