Bid Intent Not Available The Town of Basalt is seeking proposals from qualified construction firms to complete the improvements outlined in the attached documents. The scope of work includes the installation of a new irrigation vault, necessary water system connections, and related surface enhancements, such as decking and alpine garden features. The Town of Basalt maintains Triangle Park, located in Willits. The park is the site of concerts and community gatherings in the retail core of Willits. The existing irrigation vault is in need of replacement, and reconnection to the existing irrigation water system. With the subsurface improvements the Town is seeking to improve this family-friendly area of the park by installing a new play surface, new decking over the existing vault that houses the water fountain infrastructure, various rock features, and various plantings associated with a new Alpine Garden. The intended purpose of the Alpine Garden is to serve as a high-level demonstration garden for residents. The plant pallet has been carefully selected for their use in an Alpine Garden setting, and substitutions will generally not be accepted.
