Multiple Roofing Projects at four separate locations Background: The City of Keene's Utilities maintenance Division is seeking bids for roof replacement at our Fleet services building . Work to be performed at 330 Marlboro Street, Keene NH 03431 Additional Project Information: It is our intention to replace existing roof with new PVC roof to current energy and building codes. 1. This bid will be all inclusive and include all work required to do full installation. 2. Replace Mechanically fastened roof with a bonded (adhered) replacement due to conduit hazards on opposite side of roof deck. 3. Work will be performed per manufacturer's specifications and any deviation will need approval from both the Manufacturers for warranty, and City of Keene Fleet Services Operations Manager. 4. It will be up to the winning bidder to obtain a building permit from the City of Keene at bidder's expense. 5. Remove the existing roof down to the roof's decking and perform inspection. It is assumed roof decking is in "good condition" please advise of any deficiencies immediately. 6. The contractor is responsible for all material removal and disposal of the project. It will be expected that area be cleaned and debris removed daily. This is a functioning facility that will need to stay open during installation. 7. Insulation of roof deck will consist of equal to or greater than R30 value. 8. All roof drains and scuppers will be inspected and repaired as needed. 9. Material of Roof membrane will need to be White in color and of a 50Mil PVC quality. 10.All flashing to be installed per roofing manufacturer's recommendations. Any curbing shall be repaired as needed using pressure treated lumber. 11.Roof material will be required to have at the minimal a documented minimum15- year manufacturer's warranty. 12.Provisions to secure the propane gas supply line will be the responsibility of the contractor and will need to be secured to meet current building codes. Walking pads are required to be installed where necessary to service all roof mounted equipment.
