Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Spring, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a stadium; educational facility; theater / auditorium; for site work for a stadium; educational facility; and theater / auditorium.
FOR FINAL GMP PRICING: The Education Performance and Instructional (EP&I) Center will be built on land owned by Spring ISD that currently houses the Planet Ford Stadium. This EP&I Center is a three-story 158,067 SF steel and tilt-up concrete Arena, Performance Hall, and Recital Hall venue with Offices, Multi-purpose Space, Art Gallery, Commercial Kitchen, and associated BOH support spaces. The arena space will be able to accommodate 5,000 people seated in bleachers and on the floor. This space will also be used for Athletics Competitions. In addition to the Arena, the Building will house a Performance Space to accommodate 1,000 people. This Performance space will be used for the Performing Arts Band, Choir, and Theater Performances. Primary core elements and infrastructure include two (2) passenger elevators, one (1) service elevator, concrete-filled metal pan stairs, locker rooms, restrooms, electrical/mechanical/data/IT rooms, and storage areas. The roof material will be TPO over the Arena and 3-Ply Modified Bitumen at all other locations. Primary facade materials include burnish block CMU, precast concrete, composite metal panels, calcium silicate masonry units, perforated formed metal, and curtain wall/punched windows openings. The project also includes a standalone Multipurpose Pavilion which is a 45,400 SF single-story open air pre-engineered steel structure with select areas enclosed with CMU and standing seam metal roof and fascia. Project schedule: Project Start Date: April 01, 2025 (Tentatively) Substantial Completion: April 01, 202 Please review List of Alternates (Sheet A0.02) and prevailing wage scale. Please provide breakdown of the Base Bid proposal (for accounting purposes only) per the following: Base Bid 1 - EP&I Center Base Bid 2 - Multipurpose Pavilion Each Subcontractor proposer shall examine the Proposal Documents carefully and, as soon as possible, prior to the date for receipt of Subcontractor proposals, shall make written request to the Construction Manager for interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error therein which he may discover. Any interpretation or correction will be issued as an Addendum by the Architect. Only a written interpretation or correction by Addendum shall be binding. No proposer shall rely upon any interpretation or correction given by any other method
