Renovation of a conference / convention center in Boston, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
The Authority will use the RFQ/RFP process and firms interested in providing public for the Project are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to the Authority. an estimated cost of $15,000,000, located at 415 Summer St, 900 Boylston Street, and 0 Charles St, Boston, MA, Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the Request for Qualifications documents must be submitted in writing to bflynn@massconvention.com and must be received no later than 4:00 PM, May 15, 2025. Bidding procedures and award of the contract will be in accordance with the provisions of Sections 44A through 44J, inclusive, of Chapter 149 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Each SOQ shall be submitted and will be considered in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and other Contract Documents, and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid. The Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids if it be in the public interest to do so. The Authority reserves the right to cancel this procurement at any time without liability to any bidder or other party. The work covered in this project includes all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary to upgrade the existing network infrastructure at Boston Convention and Exposition Center (BCEC), Hynes Convention Center and the Boston Common Garage (BCG). This includes installation and testing of network cabling, network hardware, configuration of network switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, patch panels, and related components. The work shall be coordinated with the Owner's (MCCA's) IT Department and scheduled as to not interfere with activities at any of the facilities. Any activity deemed disruptive to regular business shall occur during evening/night time hours unless approved by MCCA Management.
