Demolition, paving and renovation of an educational facility in Flagstaff, Arizona. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

As of January 28, 2020, An awarded CMAR is not disclosed. It is expected to start in May 2020. The following is for historical reference: In accordance with School District Procurement Rules in the Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) promulgated by the State Board of Education pursuant to A.R.S. 15-213, Proposal for specified professional services and construction using the alternative project delivery methods for the materials or services specified will be received and time stamped by the Flagstaff Unified School District Number 1, at the above specified location until the time and date cited. Qualifications received by the correct time and date shall be opened and only the name of the Offerors shall be publicly read. All other information contained in the Statement of Qualifications shall remain confidential until award is made. Any proposal received after the above time and date will be returned unopened. The official time will be determined by the clock designated by the school district. Proposals must be signed in ink by the construction manager or authorized principals of the firm in order to be accepted. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted. All proposals submitted in response to this solicitation shall become the property of the District. They will become a matter of public record available for review, subsequent to award notification, under the supervision of the District Materials and Contract Management Department. If offeror believes that its proposal contains trade secrets or confidential information that should be withheld from public inspection, a statement advising the District of this fact shall accompany the proposal, and the information shall be clearly identified wherever it appears. The District shall review the statement and shall determine in writing whether the information shall be withheld. If the District determines to disclose the information, the District shall inform offeror in writing of such determination. The District will not consider pricing to be confidential or proprietary. This Request for Qualification shall not commit the District to enter into any agreement, to pay any expenses incurred in preparation of any response to this request, or to procure or contract for any supplies, goods or services. Contract performance and payment bonds shall be provided pursuant to R7-2-1103. Contract payment retention and substitute security shall be in accordance with R7-2-1104. Progress payments shall be in accordance with R7-2-1105. The contractor may recover damages related to expenses incurred by the contractor for a delay in which the school district is responsible, that is unreasonable under the circumstances and that was not within the contemplation of the parties to the contract in accordance to R7-2-1087. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses received as a result of this RFQ if it is in the District's best interest to do so. Qualifications may be shipped, mailed or delivered in person. Electronic submissions by fax or email are not allowed nor will be considered. One original hard copy in a 3-ring binder, seven (7) additional clearly marked copies and two electronic copies in the form of a Flash Drive of the qualification must be submitted in a sealed box or envelope with the solicitation number and Offeror's name and address clearly indicated on the box/envelope. All Additional instructions for preparing a Proposal are provided herein. Last day for questions will be April 15, 2019.
