Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Macomb, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade educational facility; for site work for a theater / auditorium; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The new Performing Arts Center is located on Western Avenue on the west end of the Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. The building will include an approximately 900-seat Proscenium Theatre, 150-seat flexible Studio Theatre, Rehearsal, Classroom, and support spaces. The building is generally two stories tall with a partial basement and other taller stage house volumes, and provides connection to the existing WIU Browne Hall. The build features drilled pier foundations, concrete grade beams and foundations, steel frame and deck construction, brick exterior cavity walls, aluminum curtain wall and windows, PVC roofing, specialized theater equipment and lighting, loading docks, equipment yard, remodeled parking area, site access, sidewalks and driveways, site utilities and storm water management. The Project is targeted to achieve USGC LEED v4 Silver Certification. COST RANGE $75,000,000 MBE/WBE/PBE/VBE. MBE/WBE/PBE/VBE firms must be certified or registered with CMS as an MBE, WBE, PBE, or VBE prior to bidding Obligee, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid for the payment of which Principal and Surety bind themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, jointly and severally, to this agreement. The Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond covering the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder, in accordance with the Public Construction Bond Act (30 ILCS 550). Each bond shall be in the full amount of the contract on forms provided by CDB and executed by a surety acceptable to CDB.
