Prequalification of major trades is required. All major trade contractors must be qualified by the Construction Manager and approved by MCPS prior to entering into a contract on this project. Prime Trade Contractors for the school project contemplated by this Notice will only be approved if the Construction Manager and MCPS deem them to be fully qualified and responsible. MCPS considers the ability and reliability to timely complete projects to be a critical aspect of being fully qualified and responsible. The deadline for pre-bid questions, RFIs, is March 24, 2023. The wage determination is included in the bidding documents. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept any of the bids for Alternate work submitted, and may accept Alternates in any order or combination, unless specifically provided in the Contract Documents.
