Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Chester Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The Work to be completed under Contract No. CB-33-2017 includes various repairs to the Commodore Barry Bridge substructure. The main river piers plus all the approach piers and abutments in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey are included. The types of repairs include, but are not limited to: application of protective concrete coatings, concrete spall repairs, concrete crack repairs, concrete pier cap repairs, drainage repairs, miscellaneous structural steel repairs and pier railing replacements. Several approach piers require temporarily engineered support system and performing pier cap concrete demolition and re-construction in tight work space. The scope of work also involves the main river piers, mortar repointing of piers with granite facing, granite crack repairs and specialty underwater concrete crack and spall repairs. A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) will be implemented for this contract.
