Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in North York, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and 188,368-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility.
Addition and site work and new construction for a transportation station and train line in Toronto, from Don Mills station to Morningside Avenue, approx. 13 km. Also included is an approx. 188,368 sq ft Sheppard East Maintenance and Storage Facility that will service the 100 light rail vehicles running on the transit line. The 4 concept scopes under review are as follows: Concept 1 - proposes a subway extension from Don Mills to McCowan, connecting to the future Line 2 Extension. Concept 2A and 2B - introduce the west subway extension from Sheppard-Yonge Station to Sheppard West Station; 2B is different in the east as it ends at Scarborough Centre. Concept 3 - proposes a subway extension east of McCowan Rd, terminating at Sheppard and Morningside Ave. TIMELINE: Conceptual planning is ongoing. A Business Case providing the concept plans was completed by the consultant in 2023; concept analysis is ongoing. Community consultation process is ongoing to determine the scope of work. Request for Quotations of Design-Build Consortia will be issued pending owner's decision to proceed. Further update fall/late 2025. *Project value will be released following the commercial and financial close of the Request for Quotations of Design-Build Consortia.
