As of July 19, 2022, this project has been cancelled. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Winston-Salem State University department of Design and Construction is accepting proposals for a Construction Manager at Risk for the "Physical Plant / Art + Visual Studies" until 5:00 PM, Friday, October 17, 2014, at Winston-Salem State University, Design and Construction, 1604-C Lowery Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27110. This project will repurpose and renovate an existing 16,000 SF facility. A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference* will be held on: Conference Date: Tuesday, October 7, 2014 Conference Time: 2:00 PM Conference Address: Winston-Salem State University Design and Construction 1604-C Lowery St. Winston-Salem, NC 27110 Complete proposals shall adhere to all instructions as listed in the following documents and forms attached. Template forms are available on the NC State Construction Office Website. Additionally, the University is seeking proposals for Building Commissioning Services. Building commissioning services shall be from the schematic design phase through the end of the warranty period. The successful firm will work directly for the University and will be an integral part of the design and construction team. The project is a Construction Manager at Risk project. The full scope of building commissioning shall be as required by GS 143-135.35 through G.S. 143-135.40 and as incorporated into the NC State Construction Manual.
