Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Carlyle, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the construction of a 87,480-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.
South East Cornerstone Public School Division (SEC) and the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) are proceeding with development of the New Carlyle School (the “Project”). SEC and the GOS, hereby referred to as the “Owner”, are soliciting written responses (the “Proposal”) through this Request for Pre-Qualification (“RFPQ”) from qualified firms (the “Proponent”) to provide general contracting services for the Project. 1. The facility is approximately 8,100 square meters and will serve students from Pre-kindergarten to Grade 12 with an opening enrollment of 550/600 students and a 51-space childcare facility. 2. The project is expected to start construction in Spring 2026 with Ready-forTakeover in December 2028. 3. The greenfield site is located on the southeast side of the Town of Carlyle, Saskatchewan. 4. Anticipated project complexities include: a. Mobilization to rural location b. Market volatility due to tariffs
