Site work for a civil project in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.
Construction of a four-lane, 55-kilometre divided highway that begins at Highway 11 south of Saskatoon and connects with Highway 7 west of the city. Scope of work will include construction 15 interchanges, five (5) railway overpasses, two (2) flyovers and one major river crossing - locations to be finalized. TIMELINE: Project is in conceptual planning stages. Phase 3 of the functional planning study is underway. Timelines for detailed design, tender and construction are yet to be determined; construction may be 10-15 years out. Further update in 2026. Preliminary cost was estimated to be above $2 billion (2019).
