Site work and new construction of a power facility in Tularosa, New Mexico. Completed plans call civil work for a power facility.
Design plans call for a 515-mile electric transmission line that will stretch between New Mexico and Arizona. The project consists of two bi-directional extra-high voltage electric transmission lines and substations. Transmission capacity will be 3,000 megawatts across its entire length for two single-circuit 500 kV AC lines. As of November 24v 2023, construction has been halted due to immediate intervention for the Tohono O’odham Nation.
