Site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a two-story above grade, one-story below grade fire / police facility; and for the renovation of a four-story above grade fire / police facility.
Plans call for site work, new construction, and renovations for a public safety facility in Wilkesboro. Conceptual plans call for the phased construction of a firefighter training facility. Phase one will include the construction of a three-story, 4,500-square-foot live burn facility. Phase 2 will be the construction of a 150,000-square-foot asphalt pad for vehicular training. Phase 3 will include the expansion and renovation of an existing, four-story training tower. As of May 22, 2019, this project is on indefinite hold. The owner does not have a firm timeline to when the project will be in planning.
