Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Carson, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of April 3, 2020, this project remains on hold as the owner is developing an agreement with their client before bidding it out. It is not expected to move forward for at least 6 months. Although a firm timeline cannot currently be established, construction is not expected to commence prior to fourth quarter 2020. The Project contemplated consists of the following principal work items at the WEST BASIN JMMCRWRP TESORO EXPANSION PROJECT: Installation of a 2.0 MGD Tertiary Membrane Bioreactor system. Installation of a new 5.88 MGD custom engineered microfiltration system to replace the existing facilities. Tie-in to existing offsite potable water line for backup supplies. Installation of a 600 kW standby generator. Installation of a carbon dioxide storage and dosing system. Associated civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, controls, system integration, and instrumentation upgrades. System performance testing and startup activities. The Work will be completed in all respects within 540 calendar days from the Notice-To-Proceed.
