Demolition, new construction, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Working plans call for the addition of a 14,500-square-foot, two-story above grade stadium; and for the renovation of a stadium.
Design-Build construction; work includes two (2) new, NHL-sized ice pads equipped for sledge hockey, versatile concourse between the two ice pads, 14,500 sq ft multi-purpose space providing recreation and support to the arenas, connected to local streets, biking and walking network, and on site parking. The project would see the existing building torn down. TIMELINE: Designs are ongoing. Construction has been deferred to 2027; owner is determining the direction of the project. Further update early 2027.
