Renovation and addition to a clubhouse / community center in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a clubhouse / community center; and for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Creation of a new addition and/or renovation of the existing to improve change room areas, accessibility, state of good repair, and the Facility Condition Index. Work may include construction of a gym on the south end of the building and a Halifax Library's branch located on the north end of the building. TIMELINE: A recreation needs assessment consultation process to explore viable options to revitalize the facility in future years concluded in October 2024. Stantec has been retain to provide Pre-Design Services in order to determine facility massing option for a multi-use facility (or facilities) for the Spryfield area. The goal is to investigate the feasible options for a future facility(ies) for the Spryfield area. Further update may be available in 2026.
