The work is subject to financial assistance under the Quebec - Municipality Infrastructure Program (PIQM) subsidy program of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. The work consists of providing the labour, equipment, materials and everything necessary to carry out the work, which includes, but is not limited to, the following works: Development of the new P-2 well respecting government requirements in terms of watertightness and protection (access) including all the required process mechanics; Securing of the P-1 well including demolition/abandonment of the current infrastructures, clogging of the resurgence near the well and change of process mechanical equipment; Construction of a processing and services building near the wells sector including work from all the disciplines involved: Structure, Architecture, Building Mechanics, Electricity, Process Mechanics and Civil Engineering. Processing comprising the following main systems and processes: Chemical disinfection with CT conduct (sodium hypochlorite - NaOCl); Aggression correction. Construction of a drinking water reservoir of 500 square meters located at the site of the proposed reservoir; including a booster station for the upper portion of the network including work from all the disciplines involved: Structure, Architecture, Building Mechanics, Electricity, Process Mechanics and Civil Engineering; Construction of new pipelines around new buildings and connections to existing services; Outdoor Facilities ; Miscellaneous connection and reorganization of the drinking water distribution scheme; Miscellaneous work, including the dismantling of the reservoir and existing buildings, the repair of existing structures if damaged for the performance of the work and the restoration of the premises; Carrying out commissioning, including programming and verification of automation systems and training of operation and maintenance personnel; Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals in French for all equipment. The list of work described above is not exhaustive and is only intended to inform the Contractor of the scope of the work. The Municipality incurs no responsibility for the fact that the written opinions or any documents conveyed by electronic system are incomplete or contain any error or omission whatsoever. Consequently, any tenderer must make sure, before presenting his tender, to obtain all the documents related to this call for tenders. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total amount of the bid and a letter of intent must be submitted with the bid. All tenders (including security and letter of intent) must be valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days following the date set for the opening of tenders.
