Renovation of an educational facility in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work of this single-bid project will renovate the Central Plant with work such as replacing piping, pumps, new cooling tower, plant chiller controls, fire alarm control systems, structural floor infill, window replacement, associated abatement and civil work and phased construction. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. In accordance with State Finance Law 139-j, all non-technical inquiries regarding this procurement must be directed to Peggy McSorley or for MWBE related issues, Lois McLaughlin (518) 320-1650. Contact made to other staff regarding this procurement may disqualify the firm and affect future procurements with government entities in the State of New York.
