Scorpio Corporation dba Scorpio for $6,105,967.00.** Scope of Work: Demolition, Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Casework, Roofing, Thermal and Moisture Protection, Insulation, Doors, Glazing, Framing, Ceilings, Flooring, Painting, Specialties, Lockers, Flagpoles, Canopies, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Communications, Security, Sitework, Landscaping, and Fencing. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will within ten (10) calendar days after written notice being given of bid acceptance, enter into a written Contract with the Citrus County School Board, in accordance with the accepted Bid, and give a surety bond satisfactory to the Citrus County School Board equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. No Bidder may withdraw his/her Bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of the Bids. All prime contractors must hold a Citrus County School Board Certificate of Pre-qualification to bid on Citrus County School Board construction projects. Prime contractors must be pre-qualified by the Citrus County School Board prior to submitting a bid.
