Per the owner, as of July 14, 2022, this project is at 50% design. Owner states that it is anticipated that the project may go out for bids in October/November 2022. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ................. The New Walnut Avenue Pump Station project has the following objectives: 1. Replace the existing Tapo Street Pump Station The existing Tapo Street Pump Station was constructed in 1969. The station consists of two pumps that are located on a very small, unsecured location, next to a busy street. Construct new Walnut Avenue Pump Station The new Walnut Avenue Pump Station will be located on a District owned property, at the intersection of Walnut Street and Lightning Ridge Way, which is currently used for maintenance and storage. The District would like the station's design, function, and appearance to be similar to the existing Chumash Pump Station. Based on the proposed pump capacity, it is recommended that the new Walnut Pump Station include two (2) duty pumps and one (1) standby pump.
