The project requires the construction of a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 18 million litres per day as well as a gravity outfall pipe to carry the treated water. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ The scope of work shall include a new Wastewater Treatment Plant with a permitted treatment capacity of 4.75 MGD and consist of two gravity interceptor pipe systems, liquid treatment process including lift station, headworks screening, odor control system, extended air activated sludge aeration basins, secondary clarification, RAS/WAS pump station, ultra-violet disinfection and associated yard piping, controls and gravity pipe outfall to Manadas Creek Tributary 2. Solids handling processes include thickening of WAS, aerated sludge holding tank, gravity belt thickening and belt filter press dewatering. The facility is master planned for a future conversion to complete mix activated sludge aeration to accommodate ultimate projected flows (9.5 MGD). Contract time is Thirty (520) working days Each proposal and the proposal guaranty must be originals and must be sealed in an envelope plainly marked with the name of the project as shown above, and the name and address of the Bidder. When submitted by mail, this envelope shall be placed in another envelope addressed as indicated in this Notice to Bidders. Only proposals and proposal guaranties actually in the hands of the designated official at the time set in this Notice to Bidders shall be considered.
