A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The existing lift station facility is located at 480 Doe Run Road in Sequim, Washington Furnish and install a precast concrete 7-foot diameter wet well, two 30-hp submersible chopper centrifugal pumps, valve vault, inlet manhole, 4-inch diameter force main and 8-inch diameter gravity sewer connections to existing utilities, all mechanical, valves, piping, electrical improvements including auxiliary generator, electrical control panels, abandonment of existing lift station, site restoration and all ancillary work to provide a complete project. It is anticipated that this project will be funded in part by the Washington State Department of Ecology. Neither the State of Washington nor any of is departments or employees are, or shall be a party to any contract or any subcontract resulting from this solicitation for bids. The provisions commonly known as "American Iron and Steel" that requires all of the iron and steel products used in the project be produced in the United States apply to this project in its entirety. The Successful bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts which requires that all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors performing on contracts funded in whole or in part by SRF appropriations in excess of $2,000 pay their laborers and mechanics not less than the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits, and determined by the Secretary of Labor, for corresponding classes of laborers and mechanics employed on similar projects in the area. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. The City of Sequim is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
