Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Phoenix, Arizona. Completed plans call civil work for a transportation facility and water / sewer project.

As of June 28, 2019 this project has not been awarded. There is an indefinite date for The project to be awarded. A Small Business Enterprise goal of 4% has been established for this project. The Engineer s Estimate is $2,201,367.6 to $2,690,560.40. The Subregional Operating Group Salt River Outfall (SRO) Interceptor Rehabilitation - Project E project shall be performed under one prime contract. The Drawings and Specifications for the Work include the following Rehabilitation of 82 active sanitary sewer manholes or structures located along the approximately 21 miles of SRO alignment. Rehabilitation may include installation of corrosion coating systems, structural inserts, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) liner repairs in all parts of the existing manholes as indicated in the Contract Documents. Abandon one (1) sanitary sewer manhole. Restore surface area of the construction sites to pre-existing conditions. Provide traffic control during construction. Coordinate with City of Phoenix Aviation Department for access on Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport landside property. Coordinate with City of Tempe for access on City of Tempe property. Obtain Union Pacific Railroad right of entry or encroachment permit. Obtain Arizona Department of Transportation encroachment permit. Obtain Maricopa County Department of Transportation right-of-way permit. Obtain a City of Phoenix Annual Facilities Program (AFP) permit for temporary power of ferrous chloride injection system at the 23rd Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant location. Installation of temporary sulfide and odor control treatment systems to include temporary ferrous chloride (FeCl2) injection at two locations and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) injection at two locations. Diversion of sewage flows from Salt River Outfall to the Southern Avenue Interceptor via an existing diversion structure located within the City of Tempe.
