Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a 132,045-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
As of June 30, 2020, site work is underway and commenced May 2020 and will continue until August 2020. A architect and general contractor has been selected. The proposed project consists of a new 132,045 square-foot L-shaped facility at the current Mitchell School site (500 South St.) to house students in preschool to grade 2 The new gymnasium would seat 120 people and the "cafetorium" would seat 375 with a two-sided stage situated between the space and the gymnasium. There would be 305 parking spaces, 106 spaces more than the current site, and a separate entrance to the property off Bedford Street via Wally Krueger Way to alleviate traffic congestion.
