The City of Casa Grande (City) is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction services and complete construction services as the CMAR for the Citys planned Kortsen Relief Sewer project, hereinafter referred to as the Project. This CMAR is intended to provide pre-construction services up to and including creation of a guaranteed maximum price for construction, and then execute construction of the project. These construction services are intended be provided under two or more separate Contracts. This project is intended to relieve current constraints within the city's collections network by adding additional conveyance capacity. The project consists primarily of the construction of approximately 3.6 miles of large-diameter sewer main as well as the construction of a pumping facility located at the WRF to lift wastewater to the existing treatment facility. A total budget for this project is approximately $24 million dollars. For this project, the Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) will be responsible for working with the engineering design team. The CMAR will serve as the general contractor during the construction of the project. The City of Casa Grande reserves the right to reject any or all Submittals and, except as set forth in subsection (j) above, to waive any informality or irregularity in any Submittal received, to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective Submittals received, and to cancel any solicitation if deemed to be in the interest of the City to do so.
