Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Locust Hill, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a 225,000-square-foot, two-story above grade clubhouse / community center; swimming pool; and library.
Construction of the Seaton Community Centre and Library. Indoor amenities include a 25m eight lane pool, warm water leisure pool, triple gymnasium, twin pad arena, fitness centre & fitness studios, multi-purpose rooms, children's activity spaces, administrative & support spaces as well as a full service branch library. Outdoor amenities include tennis and pickleball courts, a destination playground, splash pads, skate park, basketball court, community gardens multi-use trails and landscaped open spaces on a 25-acre site located at the southeast corner of future Alexander Knox Road and Burkholder Drive. TIMELINE: Design is ongoing. Detailed design is expected to be completed in July 2026. General contractors will be prequalified in Q3/4 2026. An RFP for Project management services was issued under a separate report & has closed, award anticipated May 2026. Further update summer 2026. *Total project budget $266 million.
