Design and construction of 2 proposed generating stations located on the Little Jackfish River; proposed sites are located approx 270 km north of Thunder Bay, Ontario; development of two generating stations with an aggregate installed capacity of about 100 megawatts, with a 30 MW generating station at Moule Lake outlet (upper site) and a 78 MW generating station about 16 km upstream of Ombabika Bay at the north end of Lake Nipigon (lower site). TIMELINE: This project is on hold. An environmental assessment(EA) was taken to phase 4 documentation, and placed on hold. Time frame for completion of the EA is undetermined due to flooding in the area. Further project development timelines may be determined fall, 2020 *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
