Site work, renovation and addition to a medical facility in Saint-Eustache, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a three-story above grade medical facility; for the renovation of a one-story above grade medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Addition and alterations to the hospital. The scope of the project includes the modernization of the emergency department to provide 36 stretchers, four more than now, creation of a four-stretcher shock area, a ten-chair assessment area and a ten-bed brief mental health intervention unit. The scope of the project also includes the construction of a new acute care unit to address the current lack of beds by adding 40 single rooms and modernizing existing care units to reduce the number of multi-bed rooms. Scope of work is being finalized. The value of the construction program may be as high as $150 million. TIMELINE: The project feasibility study is complete. The owner expects to complete this project by construction packages and awarded a project design team for the design of the first construction package that is now followed in the report under CRM ID name Hôpital de Saint-Eustache Maintenance Repairs and Improvements. Subsequent package project will be followed if/when they proceeds to a design stage. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
