Construction of West sector garbage drop-off center. Project # 19-3090. The future eco-centre will be located in the western part of the city. The municipal land selected for the construction of the future ecocentre is located on Vanier Road, between Pink Road and Vernon Street. TIMELINE: Following the requests for proposals 2026SP251 /20146907 and 2026SP252 /20146911 the owner has awarded a civil/structural and a mechanical/electrical engineering professional consultants to provide design and construction work supervision services. Preliminary studies and conceptual design are underway. Timelines of further project development will be finalized after a full design team award anticipated in fall 2026.
