Site work, renovation and addition to a swimming pool in St. Albert, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a swimming pool; and for the renovation of a swimming pool.
Expansion to the Landrex Water Play Centre to accommodate additional lane swimming and aquatics programs. The scope includes an 8 lane, 25m-long cool-water lap pool dedicated for lane swimming; a four-lane, 15m-long warm-water flexible/teaching pool; and expansion to the change rooms and mechanical upgrades. TIMELINE: Project plans are subject to revision. Scope of work and schedules design, tender and construction are yet to be determined, pending owner's capital plans & funding. Further update in 2023. Conceptual design report prepared by Vic Davies Architects. *Total project cost estimated at approx. $21.4 million. Building construction cost $17.1 million.
