New construction of a mixed-use development in Brandon, Manitoba. Working plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
Construction of park upgrades. The scope of work will include planting, lighting and path upgrades. Also included will be construction of a spray park with dry seating areas for observers and splash and water play areas for all ages. The park will feature a 50x80-foot sand volleyball court, perch site to allow surface drainage. There will be a skate park featuring skateboarding opportunities along the walking path; pedestrian and cyclist safe upgrades to allow for multi-use on the pathways. The project will also include construction of a washroom building and installation of a new play structure. TIMELINE: Design is being completed in-house by the owner. Project has been placed on hold. No construction planned for 2025. Requires funding & budget inclusion. Updates may be available spring, 2026.
