Description

Demolition and addition to an educational facility in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a 45,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 400-seat educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.

Construction of an expansion to the existing school. The 400-capacity, two-storey addition includes mass-timber construction aimed at reducing the school's carbon footprint by emitting fewer greenhouse gases. It's expected to increase the total capacity from its current 1,200 seats to a projected 1,600. TIMELINE: This project is conceptual is part of the Owners current five-year capital plant seeking provincial funding approval. All schedules will be determined once funding is secured. An update may be available in fall, 2026.
