Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Miramichi, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the construction of a 120,000-square-foot, one-story above grade recreation facility.

The City of Miramichi invites proposals from construction management firms to provide construction management services for the Miramichi Multiplex. The scope of work provided by the successful proponent would include, but not be limited to, a full suite of service offerings through the pre- construction, construction, and post construction stages of the project including pre-construction advisory services as well as construction services, and post construction services, and all other important aspects forming part of the scope of work. Construction of a recreation complex to replace aging arenas and other recreation facilities. Scope to include: one NHL-sized ice surface with seating for at least 1,842 people; space to expand with a second NHL-sized ice rink; a contemporary aquatic centre with a six-lane pool with separate recreational and therapeutic tanks; a double gymnasium; 2300 sq ft of multi-purpose programming space; a 600 sq ft community kitchen; a shared lobby with reception, washrooms, food service and canteen; and a building services area.
