Construction of a new water system, drawing on water from the Rafferty Dam Reservoir. The project may include construction of a new water treatment plant, booster pump stations and associated infrastructure. The area of development will be comprised of the City of Estevan, RM of Estevan, Weyburn, RM of Weyburn and Hitchcock, the town of Midale, RM of Cymri, as well as the villages of Macoun and Halbrite. TIMELINE: Project is conceptual and has been put on hold for several years. No active planning is underway. Project may be republished in the future, pending owner's decision to proceed.
