Site work and renovation of a civil project in Spruce Grove, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Construction of a new 600 mm diameter water transmission pipeline and fill station upgrades. 1. The water transmission line involves the installation of a 600 mm diameter PVC pipe, approximately 8,900 m in length. The construction methods for the new water transmission line will be primarily open cut with Highway and road crossings being installed via trenchless methods (i.e. Micro tunneling, auger boring, or horizontal directional drilling). 2. Reservoir upgrades include: removing and disposing of existing piping and electrical equipment, lining of the existing steel distribution piping, installing new fill piping with associated valves and fittings; structural modifications; electrical and instrumental controls (meter, pressure gauges, fill control valves, etc.); SCADA system installation; and programming. 3.
