Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kamloops, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 42,206-square-foot, two-story above grade, 453-seat educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and day care center.
The work of this contract is for the construction of a new two (2) storey, approx. 3,979 sq m Elementary School building that will "shadow" LEED Gold requirements, as well as implement GHG (Greenhouse Gas) Reduction Strategy to limit energy and emissions consumption. Site work involves a fully developed site with Civil, Landscaping, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical assemblies and services. *Award amount was not released for publication, however the project has been estimated at 63.5 million.
