Repair or replace approximately 10,800 feet of 36, 39, 42, 45, and 51-inch inch sewer pipe and 26 manholes in portions of Owens Ave between Eastern Ave and the Las Vegas Wash, Las Vegas Wash from Owens Ave to Charleston Blvd, at the siphon at Sloan Ln and Las Vegas Wash, and Pecos Rd from Owens to Bonanza Rd. Recent televising of aging sewer has revealed structural defects which indicate a potential for failure. A program to televise conditions is necessary to avoid potential liabilities. The proposed sewer rehabilitation work runs within Owens Avenue, Pecos Road, Sandhill Road, and the Las Vegas Wash between Owens Avenue, and Sandhill Road. The sewer rehabilitation project is located within the City of Las Vegas, the City of North Las Vegas, and Clark County right of way The sewer rehabilitation work includes approximately 2,479 linear feet of CIPP rehabilitation for 18-inch sewer pipe, 570 linear feet of CIPP rehabilitation for 33-inch sewer pipe, 2,624 linear feet of CIPP rehabilitation for 39-inch sewer pipe, 2,605 linear feet of CIPP rehabilitation for 42-inch sewer pipe, and approximately 2,075 linear feet of CIPP rehabilitation for 45-inch sewer pipe. Four segments of pipe adjacent to a manhole or junction structure will also be rehabilitated with corrosion protective coating per the contract plans. Additionally, there are 39 manholes or junction structures that will receive corrosion protection on any exposed concrete. The PL-116 diversion structure will be modified and new gates will be installed. The roof hatches on the PL-166 diversion structure will also be replaced.
