Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Huntersville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 16,627-square-foot fitness / recreation center.
As of April 2, 2019 this project is bidding again. As of November 20, 2018, budget concerns were the main factor in putting the project on hold. Solicitation :- 16-0275 For the renovation of the David B. Waymer, Sr. Recreation Center at which time and place Bids will be opened and read aloud. Single-prime, lump sum bids will be taken for construction as indicated in the bidding documents. Proposals must be made on standard forms furnished by the County. Prime Contractors wishing to submit a bid for this project must provide a MANDATORY written Letter-of-Interest to the Countys authorized Design Consultant at least 48 hours in advance of the mandatory pre-bid meeting in order to be placed on the official Bidders List for automatic distribution of potential addenda and offered consideration by the County as a responsive bidder. Bids submitted by Prime Contractors that have not provided a Letter-of-Interest or attended the pre-bid may be considered non-responsive.
