This is an 80' long two lane concrete bridge located on 5th Street between Ellis Road and Edgewood Avenue North. The most recent FDOT evaluation noted that the bridge is Structurally Deficient and is load rated and needs to be replaced. The timber piles upon which the bridge deck is resting are in seriously degraded condition. As of December 16, 2022, this project is in the conceptual phase. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
