Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Richmond, Virginia. Design plans call for the renovation of a 30,000-square-foot restaurant.
This project consists of work to redevelop and restore the Intermediate Terminal Building to a brewery and 30,000-square-foot bistro. The exterior grounds will include a one acre outdoor beer garden. The facility will be built in two phases. Phase I is a 215,000 square foot brewery and distribution facility costing approximately $25 million. Within three years of the completion of Phase I, the Company and the EDA will commence the construction of Phase II, which is estimated to cost over $8 million and will consist of a bistro-style restaurant and beer garden that will employ approximately 200 employees. Project is included in the City of Richmond FY 2023-2027 CIP. As of November 1, 2022, Phase II has begun preliminary design work. (Phase I brewery is completed.) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
