New construction of an educational facility in Reserve Mines, Nova Scotia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 43,805-square-foot, 240-seat educational facility.
Construction of a new school facility for 240 students. The new school will replace the existing Tompkins Memorial Elementary School. TIMELINE: An RFSQ to pre-qualify design-build teams for design and construction closed at the owner in December, 2023. A total of eight (8) companies have been shortlisted/pre-qualified to participate in the second stage RFP process. The owner is currently seeking proposals from qualified proponents to provide site inspection services. The successful proponent will be responsible for monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with the Deliverables, applicable codes, and safety standards. Further details and construction timelines may be confirmed mid-/late 2026, pending award of contract. *Budget is unreleased.
