Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a 155,000-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
As of March 2021, this project is still in construction design phase. Construction is expected to begin in September of 2021. A Construction Manager has been awarded. Project available at City of Springfield is prequalifying firms interested in providing public CM at Risk services for the DeBerry/ Homer Elementary School project through this RFQ, and only prequalified firms will be invited to Phase II. The proposed site is approximately 5.5 acres. The new consolidated building will serve approximately 800 students with an additional 120 Pre-K students. The site provides sufficient space for a three story 155,000 square foot school. This Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in M.G.L. c. 149A.
